About Us

Dan Jones started BLAST in 2021. He was coaching his son's Lego League team and part of the activities was to identify something in the community that needed to be improved. While walking through the Gateway Mall and noticing many empty store locations, the kids identified that Bismarck did not have any type of fun center at the time. This was the beginning of the idea. Initially, a full fun center was the intent but due to a lack of funding and time commitment, he decided to start small and go with a mobile laser tag option. All six of his kids and his wife have had a hand in helping start and run the business. While this business is just a hobby, he is able to help his kids save some money for college and to serve missions for their church. 

 

BLAST laser tag is different then the traditional laser tag that you will find in many fun centers. It is more of a tactical style play type that requires teamwork to accomplish objectives effectively. Many people will play with our gear and it reminds them of Call of Duty or Halo video games. We are able to change the gun types, create characters, modify objectives, and create new game modes or modify existing game modes.
